Would you have ever seen a day where McDonalds would be struggling to HEALTHIER brands?

This shyt is incredible to watch.

Things like SweetGreen, Chipotle, Subway, Shake Shack etc are taking OVER and old giants are struggling to keep up

Its really just a reminder that even the big ones still have to compete at the highest levels and always worry about falling off

Im not so sure about Shake Shack just yet but its not surprising that McDonalds is suffering at the hands of a economic recovery here in the states. Lets see how well Shake Shack does in a couple of years.

Of all those you mentioned above, I do believe Chipotle will be here for the long haul. Im surprised Mickey Ds spun em off so early last decade. They lost a winner there but then again the margins were probably too low for their liking.

I'm off that entire fast food wave breh, what is your establishment of choice? :mjpls:
Depends what you mean by "fast food"

I haven't had a burger from a store in ages that wasn't homemade from ground beef or patty meat I didn't make myself.

I stay at salad spots or eating sandwiches.

Hell, even Panera and various copy-cats are killing McDonalds. Those things are always packed.

Fast dining > fast food.

Panera, chipotle, nandos, 5 guys etc crush kfc, mcdonalds, taCo bell etc...

Why go eat garbage when you can have real ingredients for a couple dollars more a meal???
whats more, is that people are definitely showing that they're willing to pay more for it. A lot more.

I discovered that buck plus for a double cheeseburger and the money spent on a large fry was better spent copping pasta and broccoli and eating like a son bytch for the whole day.

Also for the bodybuilders, a carton of eggs>a couple mcdonalds sandwiches. That and I prefer to support the local businesses so I rarely mess with them larger joints. I go to my local burger place, they have time to speak to me, or joke amongst each other casually, you see the cook grab fresh patties and lay them on the grill, and chop up and place onions...they keep the right balance of fresh and old oil for fries...like seriously, unless you are out in the sticks, fukk are you doing at mcdonalds??? They can get a pass for the pancakes and hash browns, but even at isn't worth overpaying when a little prep goes a Long way.
