It took 6 breh. If we count Steph as the beginning of the clock 2009-10. They drafted/acquired their core by 2012-13 which was Barnes/Green rookie year, Iggy in 2013-14. They won in 14-15.

This year is still TBD, but if we don't make the playoffs I see us back there in 2018-19 and trending upward from there

im not starting there, im counting the time needed to stockpile (im counting ALL of them, you don't know who going to end up good or bad) the small forwards (barnes, Lee, Igodola, green, holiday, mcadoo, rush, and kapono) and get Andrew Bogut

We gone have to agree to disagree on this one. Even if you go by ALL of them (Monta Ellis netted Bogut), it's 8 years, which Schlenk said himself. They got lucky with the draft, were smart with FA signings, and developed guys and it worked. In our situation we have the advantage of said previous knowledge/experience. It won't take 12, 8, or even 6(optimistically) to get us to contenders again. If it takes that long Schlenk is :camby: anyways

Honored to be among a large group of Hawk fans. I've got a sneaking suspicion that they will go after James Johnson to play small ball 5. Cordinier and Alpha Omega are nice young foreign prospects. Bembry and Dorsey are nice prospects for the bench who have a specialized role.

I support roughing it for a year and rolling with a high 2018 lotto pick, the 2018 Minny pick to play with, Dennis, Prince, Collins, Hardaway?, and big money for 2018 off season. This plan is contingent on getting rid of Chance the Crapper off the books by next year which is not really possible.
