Why doesn't anyone bring up that the Warriors won their title in 2015 against injured teams?

Were the Golden State Warriors 'lucky' to win the NBA title?

Like it literally get's swept under the rug

Are they that much of America's darling that the NBA needs to promote this team so badly?

1st round

New Orleans Pelicans starting PG Jrue Holiday was limited to 55 minutes total and missed one game of the Warriors' sweep entirely coming off a stress reaction in his right tibia

2nd round

  • Memphis Grizzlies starting PG Mike Conley missed Game 1 of the series with Golden State because of a facial fracture, and starting SF Tony Allen played just five minutes over the last two games because of a sore left hamstring.

Western Conference Finals

The Houston Rockets played without starting PG Patrick Beverley and backup F/C Donatas Motiejunas, while starting C Dwight Howard played through a torn MCL and torn meniscus suffered during the Western Conference finals

NBA Finals

In the NBA Finals, the Cleveland Cavaliers were without starting PF Kevin Love because of shoulder surgery early in the playoffs and lost starting PG Kyrie Irving to a fractured patella late in Game 1

Hands down the luckiest Championship winner of all time. Like someone who got valedictorian in their college, because the 15 smartest people transferred :russ:

Tons of people acknowledge it. When you're having a basketball convo w/ a bunch of people and someone refers to as them champions or they've been to the mountain top before, there will always be at least one person to speak up and be like :rudy: yeah not really

Remember last season was supposed to be all about validating the first one so no one could say shyt. They failed.

Then they went and signed Durant so that changes everything and closes the book on that previous Warriors team. They'll always be a fluke in a lot of folks' eyes :manny:

And don't act like the cavs beat the Warriors 4-1 and shyt. The Warriors were up 3-1 so beating a healthy kyrie/love/cavs wasn't impossible from jump. Cause if it was then the Warriors would have never taken that 3-1 lead, love wouldn't have played like pure garbage for the first 6 games and the cavs would have won in 5. Warriors choked and that's all it is to it. Houston or nobody else was stopping them from reaching the finals and that was evident from last year playoffs

What the fukk? :what: That's all nikkas were talking about last year. :laff:Up until they beat OKC the narrative was that they didn't beat any real teams in the playoffs. Have you been living under a rock? :laff:

Out of all the 3 years as a team, they've only beaten one elite team (OKC) in the playoffs. What a resume
