The only guy that gets any criticism is resident WWE whipping boy, Marc Mero. Triple H now joins Mick Foley and Steve Austin in the group of wrestlers who have taken shots at Mero in their books or DVDs. Triple H gives Mero a backhanded compliment at one point. Triple H says that wrestling Mero made him a better wrestler. It really wasn’t much of a compliment with the point being that Mero was so bad, Triple H had to overcome Mero’s inabilities to create great matches. That is what made Triple H a better wrestler according to Triple H.

Triple H once said that the only reason he liked wrestling Mero was because he was forced to become a ring general (the person that leads the match) in there.

From an old Raw episode:
Trips then asks Dusty who’s idea it was to take a no talent hack like Marc Mero and dress him up like Little Richard.

I always thought Mero was a decent wrestler. :dwillhuh:

:damn: at the Little Richard dig.

Probably because he had to work with him.

You hear wrestlers describe other wrestlers as "a night off", Marc Mero is probably the opposite

Remember Cornette saying when he was in WCW they only taught him how to be and wrestle like the Johnny B Badd character. So when he left to go the E he didn't know shyt else.

Bless you Titan. Mick Foley and Stone Colds beef with Mar Mero stemmed from his guaranteed contract while they had only opportunity.

Yup, this is it. Foley had no beef with Mero per se, just beef at the fact he was getting paid substantially less money than Mero despite Mero never drawing a dime anywhere. I think at one stage Foley turned down working a program with Mero and immediately went straight to him and explained why. Mero was cool with it and no issues ever came from it.

Mero could work though, his match against Pillman at one of the Fall Brawls was superb

So Triple H was basically the only one out of the 3 who hated Mero for his so called lack of talent.
