....might be right :sadcam:

From Bret's book Hitman:

Our attention turned to a disturbance at the far end of the bar. Shawn made some kind of a racial slur and the situation was escalating because Razor stepped in and head-butted a black guy. Diesel was there standing guard over Shawn, who'd taken a handful of Somas and was in no shape to back up his own words. (pg. 367)

I been a kliq stan but I'm getting sick of defending them, straight up.

Granted Bret wrote this when he still hated the Kliq, but he didn't need to fabricate two sentences in a 560 page book in order to shyt on Shawn.

IMO, if someone calls you a ****** or spic or whatever to your face, you can be damn sure they're saying that shyt behind closed doors even more.

And yeah it was 20 years ago, but that doesn't make it any less offensive.

So according to Bret's own quote, he didnt start paying attention until the situation was already escalating, but he somehow knows what was said prior to that?

:duck:

You can call Bret bitter or whatever but he's undoubtedly one of the realest in the industry. He wouldn't fabricate something like that out of thin air when there's a thousand other angles he could've gotten at him from.

And Shawn Michaels by his own admission was a piece of shyt back then so this shouldn't come as much of a surprise.

Just for fukks sake lets look at Shawns WWF career.

I think his only match against a black dude was Kamala on a random Raw ep. And he embarrassed the man in that match. (June 28, 1993 for anyone with the network, can't find it on youtube) Shawn spits on a grounded Kamala at around 8:55

Shawn never threw down with the Nation, the Nation DX angle only happened after Mania 14. I dont think he even fought Ahmed Johnson once. Rumors that HBK didnt wanna work with Rocky are out there as well.

He had that one 7 minute match with Shelton but mainly to set up the godly superkick spot, nobody remembers anything else from that.
