When did it become cool for a grown ass man to not be able to bench press 75% of his weight?

@krackdagawd @Malta @ocmfII @Ronnie Lott

Dudes take pride in NOT being able to pick sh*t up. :mindblown:

When did this shift occur? When I was growing up you were expected to be stronger than your girlfriend. Now you and your girl gotta do the same exercises with the same weight.

Mark my words....by next year "men" will be bragging about punching like sissies and not knowing how to defend themselves. :scust:

The standard really is that men should be able to do 10 reps of their body weight, which for me is 175 lbs. That's easy.

We got dudes out here that workout with their girls and when she's done, they don't add anymore weight to the bar :mjlol:

Then we got dudes out here that don't train at all :scust:

Complaining that women don't approach men is easily the worst thing I've ever read on this site

I gotta be honest. Benchpress is one of the most overrated movements for me as far as "whats popping in the gym."

I saw the most explosion in size of tris and chest with Dips and Overhead press with interspersed diamond pushups. I find Bench to be the kinda movement that a breh

can get the mechanics down and cheat the weight (while his shoulders are screaming for attention) and claim a high bench. Now if we are talking incline or decline benches?:whew:

On topic though, the culture of "manliness" hasn't really stressed that kind of thing for a long time. Brehs out here a dropkick away from turning to dust, weighing a buck-thirty with

sagging SKINNY JEANS and terrible posture. Its a ridiculous thing to say, but a lot of times I immediately see the weakness in a lot of cats walking around cause they look straight

weak. Obviously men can do what they want, but I can't see how letting your body be a wimpy POS is something a man is ok with. Even if you working all the time, like I currently am,

you can hit the calisthenics. Whatever, though, cause a man with charisma, intelligence, AND strength is at an advantage these frail fukks don't know about.

Ol' "Gotta ask Denise to open my pickle jar" looking dudes these days.
