Nanomedicine seems the way for me. I like the idea of nano sized robots acting like white blood cells on steroids.

I'd prefer some type of hybrid between Cyborg and digital immortality whereby my consciousness is perpetually housed in an ever updating non organic body. It would also allow for things like distant space travel and other types of ill shyt. Plus you'd be a cyborg which is essentially all the benefits of machines PLUS the major benefits of human life...what's not to love there?

How close are we to any of this though? Every time you hear of a breakthrough in the scientific community you don't hear anything about it ever again. I personally believe there's a conspiracy at play to suppress technology/science. Or perhaps the elite are hoarding it all for themselves?
