Please DO NOT move to Race Track. I feel everyone needs to see this!
These 2 quotes got me thinking brehs. Is Black Nationalism the answer?
What can we do to to promote our own ala the original Black Panthers?
I want our people to be recognized for something other than foolishness.
I'm tired of images of rappers/actors (who dont give a damn) representing us!
I'm tired of demeaning our women, devaluing the black family, promoting drugs within our community, and always thinking short term.
We need to strike now while this is in the forefront of our people's minds.
Please tell me all this activism and awareness will NOT go to waste.
What can we do to collectively change our perception locally and globally?
I realize this cannot happen over night and will require a lengthy commitment.
I'm all for equality but this needs to only include OUR people for the time being.
All ideas are welcome.

u know what i love about jews, before the holocaust (even more so after) their community(the way they go about) is so tight, outsiders (other races)cant just jump in and try become "best buddies" so to speak
same goes for some Asian communities(Indians,Chinese etc)
hopefully soon, after we sort out the issues with ourselves but also other races issues with us(specially the situation we are currently discussing ) we will then "close the door" and build our own tight close nit community
Us Blacks have become too accepting, letting any and everybody in our circle. Am I racist? Not really, but we need to start building with each other, supporting our own.
One thing i hate seein is a Black person bein afraid to be around other Black ppl. I never been like that. I've always been more comfortable around my ppl.
Then, you got those Blacks who hang out exclusively with white ppl. That right there is a lost person

Although most Black leaders, including Martin Luther King Jr., weren’t prescient enough to predict such a bleak future, Malcolm X seems to have predicted the outcome.
In a speech, Malcolm X said Blacks didn’t have the moral high ground to criticize whites for job discrimination when Blacks themselves hadn’t begun to set up factories and job opportunities. As far as Malcolm X was concerned, Blacks would live their lives as beggars so long as they didn’t put forth a collective effort to raise capital for the benefit and betterment of the Black community.
In Malcolm’s mind, Blacks seemed to be at a standstill, and wouldn’t progress until we understood how to pool wealth. If Malcolm X were still alive, I doubt that he’d be surprised that the response of Black leaders to both social and economic injustice is still, decades later, to plan a march. It’s all we know. It’s the tool of the powerless and penniless.
Regardless of how you feel about Black nationalism, the data doesn’t lie.
