He seems to be doing a lot for black communities. Whether it's bailing out BLM protestors or fathers on father's day. Bringing attention to mental health and therapy. Or talking about wealth and passing it down to your children. Or being on CNN expressing his views. Being a little more political and having sit downs with the mayor. Or trying to bring reform to the prison industry. Or delivering aid to countries in need. Or even coming out with an album like 444 and it's content.
There's many things I didn't mention and probably many more I don't know. And I know he's not the first to say or do some of these things. I just think it's so dope that someone in that position is actually doing something positive

Inspirational in many aspects. Aged maturely unlike a lot of rappers and became progressively more aware. Uses his money and influence in a positive and generally lowkey way.

Can be slightly fake and transparent with his agendas and aims but no one is perfect.
I looked at him sideways for his role in the Nets saga.

He really started doing these things when he separated from Dame and became corporate then even more when he became an entrepreneur again. But not as vocal and social media wasn't pushing everything. But it's dope to see that one can keep on getting wiser, more educated and on even when you have everything and a lot of other shyt to do and take care of.

But he's definitely studied other billionaires who make as much as possible and then when they feel that they can relax and everything is set. They start doing what they really want to do.

All he wants is for black people to get their due in general. You could say it took him a little while to put his words into actions but better late than never.

Realest shyt he ever said in that one interview is that nothing in America moves without black culture, and yet we the ones getting shafted because we rarely own our own shyt and just watch it all get appropriated. He gets it. Finally. But he gets it.

This. I think he's at the point where's he good with the money and status, now he's reaching back out. I've never been much of a Jay fan,but he seems to be pushing more social justice for black people in these last few years. There's really no reason to feel negative about that. I think it's really dope of him. He's moving beyond the rap persona.

Truthfully I think he personally always got it. You could always hear it in his music "own boss, own your masters, slaves, the mentality I carry with me to this very day". I think now he's just always outwardly expressing it in interviews.
