I ask this because I'm thinking when I go to Uni in a few years I might join one. I'm in college now to get some IT certs. Next semester which starts next month is my last. Anyway, when you were in a fraternity did it help you? Like, did you network with people to get in a bigger spot than you were in professionally? If you didn't did you think that fraternities were a waste? This has the potential to create a great discussion on this topic.

The New York Times just did a very lengthy article on the Stanford grads of 1994. One of the black graduates said that he wished he had networked with his classmates more instead of spending the majority of his time with his all-black fraternity.

Yes I did and yes it did. Been a sigma since fa07. As you can see we have a couple bros in here.

Slight correction on your title/assumption of what greek life is. It's not just about joining the fraternity for a better collegiate experience. Unlike many in Panhell who can care less pass senior year, NPHC greeks look forward to a lifetime bond.
