yo If i wasn't sitting down with headphones on I would have been pacing back and forth listening to Kush shyt. very triumphant sound. loved the vocals. sick drums as usual.
BUT......
Akademik shyt was fukin brutal. got me hype. those drums were perfect. That chant sample was amazing.

Loved both of these beats. Nice sample work,drum work and mixing by both of ya'll. No negative criticisms here. Love the intro by Kush. Had to give it to to AK by a slight margin, real nice sample and beat overall. Reminds me of a Canibus beat 2k era. That loaded lux vocal chop was creative. Salutations to you both.

Was looking forward to this match up since it was first announced. Yall both didnt disapoint with some fire ass beats.
I voted for Akademik on this one though. The Choir sample, the hard hitting rums had a nikka like
through out the whole beat. Plus, all the loaded lux voice sample chops sprinkled out the beat really set off, especially that "please let me work" in the later verses. Dope work.
Kush's beat was dope too. Verb sample really set it off. The soulful horn chops you had were real dope and you've always got the drum work down good.

This was one of the battles I was looking forward to! Akademik got this one, the sample and the break went together perfect, and the vocal samples for perfectly. Kush beat was dope as always, brought the energy as always.
When that break first drops after the Lux sample...

Went with Kush that sample is just 
@KushSkywalker The drums were great, track had a good grove, those cuts weren't what I was used to from you didn't have that same kushlike sound. That's not a bad thing but It just didn't feel quite right.
@AkaDemiK Dope Drum loop Drums were nasty, Nice use of that 300 sample. Really epic, nice development.
