According to a report from The Tracking Board, it is said that Warner Bros. is moving ahead with the ‘Justice League Dark’ movie. The film is said to be due to start production in 2016. It’s said that Guillermo Del Toro will no longer be attached to direct the film, he will still be serving as a producer. Scott Rudin will helm this film. It’s said that he has already been making some changes to the script, overlooking directors, etc.

This project has been rumored to be in development for years. Now, it’s finally coming to life! The film’s plot has been kept under the rug but the sources from Tracking Board say the following: “…it involves a series of ancient tomes stolen by a madman hellbent on the destruction of humanity. When he learns of this, occult detective John Constantine seeks out a group of heroes that specialize in the mystic and arcane in order to save the world.”

Del Toro has said that the team will most likely be made up of Constantine, Swamp Thing, Deadman, Zatanna, and Etrigan The Demon. Will this film be part of the DCEU? Possibly. More updates coming soon!

Prove that

"The movie is going to be set in the DC Extended Universe, with the plan currently being for the team to co-exist separately from the Justice League (similar to The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy). However, the two worlds will eventually collide whenDark Universe characters start showing up elsewhere."

Where'd they get the idea to even have a 'universe'? You know what time it is.

Marvel put the battery in DCs back. They made comics hot. DC was done trying to get a cinematic universe popping after Green Lantern flopped.
First off, what does a cinematic universe have to do with anything when we don't even know if justice league dark is part of one?
Second, what made DC try again if marvel had already been successful with iron man prior?
Third, did they even say that green lantern film was supposed to start a cinematic universe?
Fourth, Batman begins.
