Michigan fam, why isn't this a bigger news story? I get the feeling that it's mostly affecting black people. Is it true that you haven't had clean drinking water since September?

It's a travesty. The local govt failed once again. They knew about and tried to cover it up.

We talked about this briefly in a geology class I took last semester. Flint used to get their water from Detroit (lake water I think) but switched to getting it from the Flint river. The river water has more chloride ions in it which pulls lead from the pipes that takes the water into peoples homes.

they are implying the governor and the city knew what they were doing.
is michigan a rich state?? there might be a large pay out if they have proof he allowed that dirty water into the community knowing it was bad water.
this is like that movie with julia roberts. where the water ruined the town and then the town sued.

The health effects listed in the class-action suit include: skin lesions, hair loss, high levels of lead in the blood, vision loss, memory loss, depression and anxiety.

whoever affected by that water in the slightest can jump on that lawsuit.
i wonder how many citizens are suing

it was Jerry Ambrose. do some research on that cac snake, and his whole little team
oddly enough he left his position as soon as they declared they were out of financial emergency. that was april 2015
that water switch went into effect april 2014. nice year of saving money by fukking with the water... smfh
then that fakkit decided to put an order on his authority and noone can change anything about his choices until april 2016.
so this piece of shyt is getting flint 2 years of profit off dirty ass water.
and the mayor who left office knows this.
and them two better be named in that lawsuit.
