1. influence/power - michael corleone. walt is by himself outsmarting people. altho that gets alot of props, corleone ran a very powerful organization with many many soldiers.

2. wealth - michael corleone by a HUGE margin. corleone had vegas on lock for a time.

3. leader - michael corleone. he had men ready to kill and die for him at any moments notice. shyt he had a nikka attack hyman roth at an airport. walt cant even get jesse to act right without playing some kind of mind game.

Micheal didn't have respect at first too. Then a motherfukker got shot badabing in his eye while he was getting a massage.

And then all that foolishness quieted down for a minute til dumbass Fredo got to thinking and shyt.

Walter has been trying to get that respect for a minute. While he's been murking off the dudes that don't respect him or stand in his way, he's also getting in deeper than his power and influence will allow him to.

Thwarted an assassination attempt on his father at the hospital with the local baker . Whacked a police chief and Solazzo and took a vacay to Sicily , came back and took over for his father and promptly removed the heads of the 4 other families restoring the Corleones to the top of the food chain . Had goons on deck all over NYC. Moved out to Nevada and took over a casino hotel, strong-armed a US Senator into being one of his public supporters . And let's not forget how Michael 'convinced' Frank to shut his mouth and go backwards on his sworn statement in the Fed courthouse... and how he 'coaxed' Frank into offing himself while he was under Fed protection . Sniffed out an assassination attempt in Cuba (Fredo, you broke my heart ) and by the beginning of the third movie the Corleone family was a legit organization worth hundred of millions.
