  For many years as a young kid, the boyish looking girl (and Q-Tip love interest) in the video for A Tribe Called Quest's Electric Relaxation confused me. Everything about her wardrobe and casting was just so damn anti everything expected about Hip-Hop video girls even then. The mid-90's was a tomboyish era of female fashion but she was damn near butch.
