One of Hip Hop’s most paradoxical executives, Jimmy Rosemond, is behind bars serving a life sentence. Rosemond was an austere but hard-working executive whose reputation had been hampered for decades by allegations of his involvement in the 1994 shooting of rapper Tupac Shakur at Quad Studios in New York City. Since his conviction in 2012 on unrelated charges, nobody has had the chance to speak to Rosemond or get all the details on his case. Riddled with inconsistent information provided by career criminals and federal informants, along with a strategic plan by former Los Angeles Times journalist Chuck Philips to provide government officials with false and damaging information, the case caught the attention of G2G producers, who were inspired to do some real digging to uncover the truth.

Topics examined in the series include Tupac, the business of hip-hop, media coverage of Rosemond and his conviction in both a drug conspiracy case and murder-for-hire of an ex-con who assaulted his then 14-year-old son. A host of trial documents, wiretaps and materials gathered by the G2G investigative team will be reviewed to seek out if justice was truly served.

Part two:

In this episode we travel back to Jimmy’s upbringing as "Ace" and recap the trials and tribulations that prepared him to make a successful transition into the cutthroat business of entertainment. We look at his survival of a near death experience on the streets of Brooklyn to his first foray into the music industry. "How Can I Be Down", David Hyatt, Groove Theory and Salt-N-Pepa are all recalled. We speak to a number of personalities from his upbringing on the streets of Flatbush and Crown Heights to key industry executives who got to know Jimmy as he began to flourish in the business.

Part three:

Firmly planted in the industry, we examine Jimmy’s infiltration into a multitude of prominent entertainment circles. With a knack for negotiating business deals and conflict resolution he broadens his portfolio of businesses by tapping into his rolodex of executives and exploiting every opportunity presented to him. Driven by success, hard work and the determination to leave his criminal past behind, he negotiates one of the biggest deals in boxing history for then heavyweight champion “Iron” Mike Tyson and solidifies his place as one of the top executives in the business.

Part four -
UNJUST JUSTICE - The Jimmy Rosemond Tapes Episode 4

A look at the charges, players and strategy used by the government to convict Rosemond on a CCE charge.

For the first time kingofnyc i have to agree with you:yeshrug: , if you notice wen he is getting interviewed by tabitha soren about his 94 shooting he is stuttering cause they have a diff story then his n " am the 1 with the bullet wounds" i think its clear as day pac shot himself in the groin going for his pistol , dexter issac said the same thing pac shot himself 1 shot ... Dexter said pac was lying to the world about getting shot 5x n exaggered the story as what is said in this ... I kinda do think its true :manny: pac saved face after him getting set up by jimmy henchman:beli:...

Never knew Mobb Deep was there that night he got shot.
There is way too much talk about 2pac shooting himself. I don't really see the point of everyone harping on that detail.

Pac said his cousin was locked up and after he got shot word spread to the joint and his cousin was right there to get it.
Wouldn't matter if tut or jack were actual members of a-team or not. A-team could have contracted the hit to them.
We've already gone over the amount o times Tupac got shot in another thread. But here it is again:
This is from Barbara Justice, MD, of Harlem Hospital where Tupac went after checking himself out of Bellevue Hospital. He did this in fear for his safety due to such a large police presence at Bellevue. Later parts of the affidavit touch on this. These and many other government documents are included as pictures that can be read in both the book and 85 minute film on DVD: The FBI War on Tupac Shakur and Black Leaders: U.S. Intelligence's Murderous Targeting of Tupac, MLK, Malcolm, Panthers, Hendrix, Marley, Rappers and Linked Ethnic Leftists (available on amazon)

Stretch pulled out his gun on Jimmy and threatened him when they went upstairs. Evidently he also felt that Jimmy was to blame.
If you say you are going to meet someone somewhere and when you get there you get ambushed, more than likely you're going to think that maybe the person you were going to meet had something to do with it. So I don't think it was about Pac trying to save face by accusing Jimmy.

True. If you read that Vibe interview he clearly stated that it was gonna be the last time he publically spoke about it.

On the other hand though, whether it was due to the hearsay, Suge or whatever, he spoke on it quite frequently like you said. I think he said
he felt other cats were subliminally talking shots at him and about the situation and him hearing people saying this & that and therefor he felt
he had to come out swinging.

But again only they know. Could've been a mix of Suge & hearsay, could've been paranoia, couldve been anything really.

Btw, when does the next episode come out, next week or?

first off sounds like you 1 ov these fans tha gobbles up everything pac said like its gospal:russ: , tupac shot himself its not even a debate to unbias nikkas .. Greg kading spoke to nypd and the first doctor that treated pac they both were not convinced he was shot 5x , you got it twisted about what i meant by saving face. I mean he lied told the world he was hit 5x then instead ov going at the nikka who actully set him up he went at the 2 easy targets ie big n puffy :francis:
