-Chemistry
-Impact
-Did the team enhance the profiles of the members and prove beneficial for their career paths?
-Promo Work
-In-Ring Skills

Exceptional six-man tag/tag team work, and they will easily go down as one of the all-time great trios/stables in wrestling history. All have since gone on to be Triple Crown Champions. Promo-wise and in-ring wise, they knew what they were, had their roles, and played them.

I'm hesitant to give them a 10 because there was so much more they could have done as a group. They were broken up too soon. But all three are going to the Hall of Fame, and their time in this stable is the catalyst for all that.

Outside of longevity, they basically check off all the boxes you want for an elite team/stable.

Soft 10.

8, only because there was one guy clearly made to be better than the other two. If Dean wasn't such a chump ass gump i'd go higher.

I feel you on this, but of the three, I think Dean Ambrose is the last one I'd want to fight. I legit think he doesn't give a damn and when he's not being portrayed as an idiot, he comes off as the most believably dangerous of the three (taking size/weight/height out of it).

Maybe, but in the ring he's a midcard bytch clearly not on the level of Reigns or even Rollins.

Stays getting his ass whipped and getting sonned.

The Lesnar feud :scust:
The Bray feud :scust:

6. never really got the hype behind them, they never established a motive so it always felt forced when they showed up. the did break up the monotony that was cm punk and cena and kept ryback away from the belt so theres that. they were hyped as the cena orton and batista of the new era but hindsite pretty much confirms they were ok guys surrounded by hype whos careers would have been better if they had a slower build up. especially roman.

They were mercenaries.... they didn’t need a motive.

Anyway, think their score gets so inflated because for a long time, they were the best thing on WWE and you didn’t have to do much to be that in the past few years. But they weren’t just the best of the worst, they were actually really really good too.

I think the only real good promo in The Shield is Dean, especially when it’s a promo with a purpose and not just spewing crap. Seth is not a good promo and Roman has no excuse to be this bad, this far into his career. There’s only so long we can cheer his promos the few times they’re good like an incapacitated child coming in last place during a race.

Their chemistry is phenomenal. As a unit and in singles matches. I genuinely enjoy Roman as a wrestler more than the other 3. I think they’re all good wrestlers tbh Dean is just lazy as fukk. He can put on a good match when he wants to.

As far as their careers go, when you look solely at the accolades, it looks good. But when you actually look at their title runs, it’s so meh. For all of them. Just meh storylines. And truly, all of that is through no fault of their own (shytty writers and such). They should all have better singles careers.

I like The Shield better as a unit than as single wrestlers. Before this past reunion went to shyt, you can tell how much more grittier and comfortable all 3 of them became with regard to their mic and stage presence.

I’d give them an 8 because I truly did enjoy the Shield era of the WWE. We never saw their full potential as they were split too soon. We got robbed of so many fire matches man.
