Never liked this stable because it was a rip-off. Ivory was the only good thing about it. Y'all like to use that nWo & DX were family excuse for those two stables. What y'all gotta say about this?

:hhh:

Of course they were a ripoff, they were a parody of the PTC, who were some dikkhead Christian group that were giving the WWF shyt at the time

Giving them a 7. Excellent idea and came along at the perfect time. Richards was the perfect mouthpiece, as was Ivory. The membership made perfect since as well. Can't go past a 7 cause none of the performers were elevated as far as the title scene goes, and I felt there was still potential not totally realized. Also can't get higher cause it hurt Godfather and Val Venis in the long run. Godfather was still pretty much at peak popularity before he became a member, and Val Venis never got back to his serious heel state. To me, Val's feud with Rikishi showed that he could be a ruthless character without relying on the porn gimmick, and could have possibly been elevated. But RTC stymied them both even though they were good for the stable. They used to get an insane amount of heat. I was at a Raw show and when that theme dropped, the boos were deafening :mjlol: They had a very short match a WM X-7, but it was nothing but balls to the wall action. Was always entertained when RTC was on the screen, especially when they'd interrupt different matches and segments.

You’re right, a censorship group called RTC were definitely not based on a censorship group called PTC that had a problem with Vince McMahon and the WWF
Deosn't matter. ECW created the same type of group back in 1999.

Don't nobody got nothing to say huh? People love to talk about TNA & WCW taking things from WWF/E tho, some of which were parodies.

one of those groups that I thought was trash at the time, but I look back and just realize they were just being good annoying heels. It's the only time I thought Stevie Richards wasn't channel change status. They could have really used a true main eventer though.
