As a stable? 9. I was the target age for dx in 97/98 and I love the 97 iteration. That shyt was perfect and they were great heels. 98 was awesome too but it was a different group and that beef with the nation was must see tv that summer. From 99 and any iteration of the group thereafter, it was cool but it wasn’t the same. The McMahon Helmsley regime thing then the reunion in 06 which was just neutered as hell.

Shawn running dx in 97 is the version I always think of when I think of dx. That’s it’s purest form.

As a tag team? Nah. Hate them as a tag team. So I’m a 9 now. Could go to an 8 later

Started with 8 but changed to a 9 after thinking about it. They were definitely entertaining to me as a teenager, the WCW invasion thing was hilarious, they had girls out there trying to pull their t*ts out... they kinda showed up at the perfect time just as the NWO was beginning to really fall apart for me. If we're not counting them past 99, it's definitely a 9 from me

One of the main reasons why it was difficult for me to rate them favorably. Someone said in another thread that nWo represented the cool kids and DX represented the wannabe cool kids. It was such an apt comparison. :ohhh:

Most of DX's sophomoric antics didn't age well and they were a glorified midcard act during the peak period of their popularity. They were considered a successful stable because every member benefited from being in the group. The funny thing is that Triple H was the least over member in the group but somehow reaped the benefits of being a DX member the most.

DX's impact on the industry has been a prime example of revisionist history in WWE. I think WWE even tried to claim that DX helped beat Nitro in the Monday Night Wars. :mjlol:
