It makes you wonder how he failed WWE's physical but managed to pass TNA's requirements.

Ring- 8. Brother, the guy could work. I saw his whole TNA run and a handful of his ROH run, the guy was a very good worker with some outstanding matches. His matches vs Angle in TNA and D Bry in ROH stand out.

Mic- 6. Decent promo, he could hold his own in a feud. Voice was annoying though.

Star Power/Charisma- 6 SOme guys stand out more in indy CAC-based environments where they don't have to have star power.

Nigel's no Roderick Strong or Eddie Edwards, but I don't think he'd translate on the big stage like D Bry, AJ, Samoa Joe, or Punk. He was able to come off as legit enough against some big names in TNA, but he still had a sort of indy guyness to him.

Nigel and Age of the Fall were the two things that made me stop reading match reports and actually seek out indie wrestling. I’m forever in their respective debts as a result.

Nigel might have been the most stubborn, stupidly reckless person working ROH during his run. The fact that his last title defense featured him wearing Jax levels of arm tape because both of his biceps were torn from rebound lariating the world into submission was both awe inspiring and, well, really fukking stupid. Didn’t stop me from wanting him to keep the title forever though.

Peak Nigel for me had to be his Pure Championship run though. Come out, cut a promo to piss the crowd off, then wrestle a “pure” match and win every fukking one via chicanery

honest ratings: 8.5 in the ring, bang 7 on the mic, 7.5 when it came to his gimmicks. If he didn’t spend 4 years destroying himself in ROH he could have been a Cesaro type in WWE, I would still be a mark for the guy, and I wouldn’t have ever had to switch to Clamdiggger in the E

8. Legit was the 1C of Indie Wrestlers for me when I first started on it behind Bryan (who went FCW months later) and Human Tornado and had the most worthy Lariats I've ever seen.
