Dude offense was hella believable and was legit tough af according to several shoot interviews. Gotta deduct points for him and JR’s roles in the BFA. Idk who JR stanned harder between SCSA and Dr. Death

i loved Dr. Death....i caught him in his NWA/WCW run..wasnt much of a promo but a hell of a wrestler...his tag team with Terry Gordy was the shyt...he was also dope in the WCW Wrestling game that came out on Nintendo :russ:

..its a shame his best matches in his career took place in All Japan which were :wow:

..misawa, kobashi, kawada..this is the japanese wrestling i liked watching..absolutely brutal moveset and finishers...in america it was the oklahoma stampede...in japan it was the backdoor driver..dropping cats right on the heads and neck...regularly :damn:

....i also hate that when he came back to the US to work for the WWE, he was old and banged up from japan...i didn't find him hokey like dan severn but he unfortunately didnt gel in the attitude era..i blame the booking more than him...especially when\ brawl for all killed him dead in the WWE when bart gunn KO'ed him...i give him a 7...RIP

I didn't see his Japan run, which I know is well-regarded, so I'm going off of what I've seen in NWA/WCW/WWF and I was never very impressed, although I did like the Williams/Gordy run in WCW where they destroyed the Steiners.

I loved him in The Varsity Club. I was a huge varsity club stan. Loved his work in the ring in general. He wasn't very charismatic though and wasn't very versatile in the ring. I'm limited in what I've seen of him since I don't really watch Japanese wrestling. I went with a 6 from what I've saw of him.

I was a VC fan also, they are one of the most underrated Stable in Wrestling

JR's stanning of Dr. Death was so extreme that he tried his hardest to bury Bart Gunn after beating Dr. Death. :mjlol:

Even Dr. Death was pretty stiff with the suplexes in this segment.
