Mic promos - who gives a fukk, charasmatic egoatma ain't have to say a shyt but he could cut a decent promo when he needed to.

Personality/gimmicks -

Ring work - classics on top of classics. Jeff Goaty raised all these flippity flip nikkas. :wow:

9.5 Dgaf what nobody say. He was more over than and outselling Cena before he left. if he stayed and ain't get that 3rd strike a few legacies might be looking way different.

To thrive in spite of his dreaded spot monkey addicckktion is amazing :wow:

. Nothing remarkable on the microphone, but he’s always connected with the crowd and put on a show in the ring. Legit worked his way up the card while managing to always feel like he’d earned his spot on the card, and went out of his way to make big matches memorable. Goes out of his way for the kids too. Signed my copy of the 2002 survivor series and hung out with me and my friends after sacrifice in 2005 for a good while backstage too. I’m giving Jeff a 9. Longevity matters and he’s been around for some 20 years while still feeling fresh, authentic, and relevant once he’s back from injury.

9. The GOAT spot monkey. He's wrestling's rock star because he was drugged out and doing crazy ass shyt for the fans. Before leaving the 'E in 2009, he was the most over wrestler in the 'E when Cena, 'Taker, Triple H, Orton, Batista, CM Punk were still active. Managed to have successful singles and tag runs. And he's been over since 1999. Like you could plug him in the main event scene right now and the majority of people wouldn't mind at all.

I give Jeff a (no puns) high 9. I’ll echo similar statements others have made in here, he’s been able to stay relevant for nearly 20 years while never feeling like he’s over stayed his welcome. He feels authentic in an era where that absolutely counts for something, and he’s a legitimate star in a time where those are hard to come by. He’s had classics all up and down the card from the tag scene to the main event, he’s versatile in that he can work the tag scene, fight for a midcard title, and still main event without losing any stardom. He’s taken plenty of risks, both in the ring and as a character, whether or not you were a fan of Willow, his AntiChrist run, or Brother Nero he wasn’t afraid to try something new and reinvent himself.

He wasn’t a good promo but he didn’t need to be, he had a natural charisma with the audience. I saw him and Matt live not long after Delete or Decay that had a meet and greet prior to the show, and while Matt had a lot of fans and the Hardyz collectively had a bunch, Jeff’s line to meet him flowed out through the lobby of the building towards the ringside area. Matt came through the crowd and went backstage while Jeff still had fans waiting. That’s stardom.
Add in all the TLC/ladder matches, classic feuds with guys like Punk, and I personally rank him 9.
