7 for the dance alone and just the whole Eurotrash gimmick which was midcard gold. They probably could’ve done more with him, but if you were a heel and not nWo there was a ceiling on how far you can actually go so he never got a fair shot to me anyways.

Only thing I remember was the dance, 6 off that alone. He was a decent hand if I remember correctly, but the dance was gold.

Alex, like Taka Michinoku, peaked in his early 20s and never improved upon his skills. Both also became decent gimmick workers which helped in their stagnation. I imagine Alex in this generation being more focused on his craft and building on the foundation he set upon his arrival to become a very good if not great wrestler. Anyway...

A fond 6. Seems like he had an early peak and basically flat-lined, but I feel like he was the first person to make the German Suplex cool, and I'm very sure I've done his dance at one time or another. If I remember correctly, he has some good matches with Jericho and Rey Mysterio. The Berlyn gimmick was different, and probably could have been something had his debut not had been delayed due to the Columbine killings. Plus, WCW started taking notice of his bodyguard The Wall more, and basically used him to put him over. Him teaming back with Disco Inferno not to long after that was meh. Would probably be higher if he had more solid title runs to elevate him, but he was mostly a steady low to mid-card with a solid fanbase. Sometimes that's all you need.

But anyway, Alex Wright was a pretty good worker and midcard. The Berlyn thing could have went far but they totally killed that. The fact that the debut was delayed and then when he finally premiered, they kept mentioning dancing and crap. :scust:

-Personality/gimmicks - 6.5 (Das Wunderkid/Alex Wright was goofy but they could have taken Berlyn far)
