Great promo skills, one of the GOAT gimmicks, very good in the ring. The only reason I can’t give him a 10 is because he was before my time and I don’t have any nostalgia influencing my ratings

Plus he has the GOAT villain laugh

This is a dude who damn near deserves a 9 or a 10 in every category. He was that good. Longevity is probably the biggest drawback.

In his prime, the marks (including little Hoss) hated him like no other, even though a lot of his shyt was making me laugh. I definitely missed him when he was gone.

Legendary heel character, one of the most memorable of all time. Legendary promo skills, and a high-level worker in his day. Best vignettes this side of Mr. Perfect.

9, and I considered 10. But yeah, 9. And fukk Hogan.

I give him a 9... Legendary gimmick, great talker, good in the ring. The best heel in the company in the late 80's. Should have more gold in his career

I didn't grow up with him, but watching him retrospectively, a 6. Good worker, didn't really come off as a real star, 100% gimmick, good mic skills.

I feel like he is in a weird spot. He wasn't "larger than life" like Andre, Hogan, Macho Man, Slaughter, Papa Shango, even Tatanka...but looking back at his work, he was damn good.

a very solid worker (not extraordinary but damn good...no disrespect :whoa:

) lived the gimmick and played the gimmick to a tee. Honestly, probably a better "entertainer" than "athlete" when it comes to being a "sports entertainer"...

I don't know if I can give him an 7 seems too low. I'll go with 8 :manny:

Mic work was pretty good. 7.

Personality wise he was a great character. As the MDM, he really made that character come to life. 10

Ringwork - 7. He was always pushed as a great technical wrestler and mechanic on commentary so it led me to believe that as a kid, but after rewatching his in-ring stuff it doesn't hold up except for the Savage matches and a few others.

I agree with the overall score of 8, but Teddy has some PIFF fukking matches in Mid-South :banderas:

Trend-setting heel. Legendary gimmick. Lived that shyt. More than solid wrestler.

Main drawback is lack of singles accomplishments in WWF.

Damn near my ratings exactly. While his gimmick played a large part in carrying him not sure many others could have pulled it off in such a great way. I went with a 9.
