The best and most laziest out of the Windham/Rotunda clan, just didn't care to be the man and made a few questionable decisions when it came to his career.

By the time he was hitting his wrestling peak, early 30's he was already on the decline unfortunately, due to injuries and I guess that's what happens when you start out early and been on the road for already over a decade.

Had one of the best gimmick names in the Widowmaker.

Had a good matches with Flair in the 80's and is part of the 2 best war games matches ever.

Also a staple of the Horsemen in the late 80's and early 90's.

Overall 7. Mainly because he's forgotten when talking about wrestlers from the 80's, but then when his name is bought up, you remember how good he was and felt he should of done alot more with his career.

7 from me.

Windham personified that whole brawling "fukk your feelings" type of style to wrestling. He was a suitable horseman to replace Ole :ehh:. His promos were eh, but nevermind the talking, dude was about putting in that work in the ring.

Bottom line, Barry was like that average wrestler that somebody would create on WWE 2K17 that somehow did good in universe mode:jbhmm:.

Could have truly been one of the GOATs had he kept his shyt and body together. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to for any more than a couple of years at a time and he's one of the biggest "what ifs" of the past 30 years, imo. He just made shyt look so effortless. I give him a 7 due to wasting much of his career.

The only criticism I've got is something that's already been said: for whatever reason, he always left you with the feeling he could have been much a much bigger deal than he ever was.

But this dude's ring work for a man his size was on another level, and that worker/persona combination was a perfect fit for The Horsemen (and in my opinion, The Horsemen in their prime, concept-wise, was as good as pro wrestling got). He was definitely my favorite wrestler during his peak.
He was not a great talker, but he didn't have to be. He was always more of a presence than a personality and I actually liked that about him.

I'd give him a 9 but I'll admit I'm biased.

I gave Barry an 8 for his early potential. Others have already mentioned how smooth he was in the 80s and how quickly his ability fell off the cliff in the early 90s. His work at it's best is fantastic which is disappointing that outside elements contributed to him never reaching the heights he should have.

One of my favorite wrestlers. Whether he was a heel or face, dude kept me glued to the screen. During his NWA championship run when he beat Muta for the title I was so into his badass lone wolf shtick. In the ring, Barry could pull a good to watchable match out of anyone. I'm rolling with an 8

-Mic work/promos: 5. Can't recall anything about his promos, really.

-Personality/gimmicks: 6. He looked good as either the young baby face or scum bag in NWA/WCW. WWF's Stalker and New Blackjack gimmicks were obviously terrible.

-Ring work (along with some of your favorite matches/feuds): 7. I enjoyed his feuds with Luger and Pillman. He's been involved in a lot of great matches, most of them tag matches.

-Overall rating (which doesn't have to be an average of the above scores): 6. By 1990 (the year I started watching wrestling heavy), he was on the downside of what he used to be in the NWA in the '80s. He became pretty lazy and out of shape by the mid '90s (and he would've only been 35 years old). And, personally, I've always felt he was overrated anyway.
