With a scale of 1-10 how would you rate William Regal in these categories:

-Mic work/promos

-Personality/gimmicks

-Ring work (along with some of your favorite matches/feuds)

-Overall rating (which doesn't have to be an average of the above scores)

Solid 8. Those Regal and Finlay matches :blessed:

Great promo. Great facial expressions. Can do both serious and comedy. Dependable in the ring. However, not dependable out of it which stopped opportunities to go further :mjcry:

breh, have you watched one of his wcw television title fights
now,i didn't watch every single one, but dude was just running the clock down and his moves were super defensive.
now i have to add that we here never got all wcw events, so there might be holes in my knowledge.
now i'll admit, that he was much better in wwe.

I'm not sure we ever got to see him really be given the ball, except for the turning out the lights stuff as GM. I think I can go 6.5 so 7

"HE'S A MAAAAAAAN.... :wow:"

One of my all time favourite heels.

Arguably the GOAT 'Resting Heel Face' in the business.

Thoroughly repped for the UK with his insults. Hearing him call someone a toerag on TV was :ohhh:, because you never expect to hear that slang anywhere except a pub in East London.

Gave :hhh: a style to run with.

His run-ins with Jericho as GM were :mjlol:

A high 8 for me.

He gets a 10 alone for that backhand pimp slap to Stink in WCW, greatest wrestler to come out of my country, fukk Dynamite Kid

Commissioner Regal and GM Regal were piff gimmicks, great in the ring, had possibly the greatest facial expressions of any heel wrestler ever

Solid promos mixed in with some brilliant ones, when I get home this evening I'll link them

Should have been champ but he's got nobody to blame but himself

I'm giving him an 8. Truly underrated, I think he would've been a bigger star in this era.

Where to start w/ Lord Steven William Regal aka A Man's Man.

I'm actually old enough to remember him seeing him as kid, wrestling under his real name::flabbynsick:

"Do you know what my New Year's resolution is going to be? To wake up a half an hour earlier so I can hate you more."
:banderas:

The Earl Robert Eaton/Blue Bloods skits are classic. @patscorpio

The O.G Man of 1000 Holds in WCW

He had 2 lengthy TV Title runs w/ WCW, got put over, to win those title by Steamboat, Zbyszko & Luger.

The Parking Lot Brawl him & Finlay had :banderas:

Now his WWE, career is probably more known for his out of the ring work than in it. Any position of power on TV role he was given he killed it, the backstage segments w/ Eugene, Vince, Cryme Time, etc. The EPIC locking off Raw before the show ended was :wow:

Had a classic match with Eddie when they both where on the outs from WWE.

Maybe one of the last true heels and you knew he was a heel, never did that tweener shyt, from what I can remember.

I'm giving Regal 10. Why you ask, because I'm fukking biased and he pretty much held it down for UK wrestling in the US for 2 decades, along with Finlay & Dodgy Dave. Who are the go betweens the World of Sport Era and the renaissance of the UK scene back in the mid 00's (Burchill's, Neville's, Spud's etc...) and now its boom period the UK scene is currently having. (Shouts to Dirty Doug, Brookeside)

If I was looking at it objectively, Regal's probably 7/8
