Definition of a 6.5. Solid worker, solid if predictable promo, nothing that set him out at all.

That weird heel turn he had was bizarre as well

:dead: at them just giving him a looped 3 second titantron from the intro package of an event that happened 18 months before he turned heel

5. Underrated worker, memorable gimmick, some good matches (that cage match with Rikishi really stands out) but I wouldn't really say he did anything worthwhile after joining the RTC. 2, maybe 3 good years tops gives him 5.

No Father To MY Style.. A Son Unique
One of the more underrated wrestlers of the attitude era.

His gimmick made him a midcard "star" but it was a short run on "top" and he just floundered from there.

Id give him a solid 6. Def better than avg but hes not a legend nor was he someone we ever were dying to see. A "good hand" as they say but thats all.

A solid 6 from me (:whoa:). He was very identifiable in Attitude, was a pretty good worker, could talk, and had a standout gimmick. That gimmick was probably never supposed to allow him to ascend any higher than he was. 97-01 were pretty much his peak WWF years, 97-99 solo wise. Got huge reactions from the crowd, and he was overall a solid dude. Always thought his feud with Mankind was hilarious ("I just want to feel your NUUUUUUTTTTS" :mjlol:), and his feud with cage match with Rikishi was probably his peak feud. He was great in RTC as well. Was good to see a complete change of character from him that worked in a stable where it totally made sense. His time after RTC was pretty meh. Going back to his old gimmick after the original Brand Extension just really didn't make sense for that period. Calling himself the "Big Valbowski" and being a "porn director" instead of a "porn star" was pretty cheesy. The Chief Morley stuff and teaming with Lance Storm was alright. I really don't remember why they teamed other than they both happened to be Canadian, but I also don't remember that even being played up in story-lines. The rest of his WWE career was a blur to me. He was basically a jobber for what felt like forever. The last thing I remember him doing then was teaming with Viscera. Had to look it up, and it says Val was injured throughout 2008, and was released in 2009. I had no idea he spent 11 years in the WWE:skip::pachaha:. His Impact run was short and weak, but that can describe Impact and the WWE in general in 2010. Didn't think I'd write this much for Val Venis, but whatever. He was a solid identifiable dude in one of the most popular eras of wrestling, and a 6 seems perfect for him (:whoa:).

I thought he was a great wrestler and great with the mic

I gave the big Valboski a 6

I didn't enjoy his later years after he dropped the porn gimmick

I don't think anyone did. He had a memorable character during one of wrestling's hottest eras but he didn't have much to offer when that period was over.

I never got that joke...

So this is from the mid to late 00's, where Val was used sparingly here and there, remember he was one of the masked goons in the Hassan angle that was aired the day after the London bombings back in 05. Anyway I digress, so you wouldn't see Val on TV for months, but anytime there was a segment where someone was being loaded into the back of the ambulance, Val was always there to shut the door and pat the Ambulance on its way as it drove off. I believe it was one of the TSC brethren who highlighted it, but the OG thread was on :hamster:

Koalabama and the Cosmos
Strong 4.

A gimmick that aged like a 1940s chocolate ration. Val was an meh wrestler with a strong persona for its time. A porn star that so happens to fukk wrestler's side ring rats. While this is good for what it is (Attitude Era), just looking at them corny ass segments like choppy choppy pee pee just escapes me as it did when I was 13:ld:.

Bottom line, ugh..:francis:
