With a scale of 1-10 how would you rate Raven in these categories:

-Mic work/promos

-Personality/gimmicks

-Ring work (along with some of your favorite matches/feuds)

-Overall rating (which doesn't have to be an average of the above scores)

really underrated. that Raven gimmick could have been bigger in the wwf if it was there at a different time. he came to the wwf at a time when they wouldn't let his real raven gimmick work.

8 - mic
8 - gimmick
5 - ring work
7 - overall

Raven ceiling was always meant to a upper midcarder at best.

He wasn't good enough to be in a main event scene stacked with big name talent.

I just couldn't imagine him working programs with sting, Goldberg, macho man, Kevin nash, the rock, austin, taker, hhh, angle, etc on a regular basis.

I think he was solid in the ring and shine most when there wasn't as many big name talent similarly to Jeff Jarrett.

Overall I'll give him a vague 6.:yeshrug:

Quote the Raven...

He's a 4

:mjlol:

Being serious there is no way he had a bigger impact than Chyna. I don't care about his longevity or anything else. If we aren't going off of a weighted scale, I have to give him a 5 purely on the strength that no one outside of wrestling knows Raven like they know Chyna

It's not about how everyone else rated someone. It's about how YOU rate them.

10 for everything but his ring work it wasn't all that. His stuff was so deep and it didn't take till later to realize how great his gimmick was

9. Very talented and was underutilized as fukk. Way ahead of his time that the bookers don't know what to do with him back in WCW. And should've been WCW Champion.

These are always super hard. I didn't see the Raven in ECW stuff until I was much older, but I did love what he did in WCW a great deal. Excellent on the mic, really creative, solid wrestling when he wasn't just doing garbage matches. Again, one of the reasons I watched the first hour and a half of WCW and then switched to WWF's main event. The mid-card stuff (basically anything not tied up in the stupid NWO nonsense) was far and away better than the WWF's midcard.

I'll say 8, overall.

He admits he was the original 5 moves of doom. He's the og of working smart. He considered his trademark 'sitting in the corner' one of his 5 moves .:russ::ohhh:
This one's tricky tbh. :manny:

6, guy has an overinflated sense of self importance to the business and seems to think he was much better than he was

He got exposed once he got from under the jew that hes not able to be a true mainstream star

There are maybe 3 raven matches that I can ever remember being worth a shyt

1. Against C____ B_____ on nitro in panama city when he got the shyt chopped out of him

2. The double dog collar ecw tag team title match with stevie richards against the pitbulls

3. The match with Goldberg

Other than that, never been a fan of his shyt
