Laila Muhammad
is a seasoned journalist/host/television personality with more than a decade of experience. Whether she’s covering breaking news or interviewing celebrities for feature stories, Laila brings her own style and energy to the camera. She prides herself on being her true, authentic self on television. That means an occasional corny joke, high energy, a big smile, and rocking her natural, curly hair.

Prior to arriving at Eye Opener, Laila was a news anchor at WTKR-TV in Norfolk, VA for nearly 9 years. She got her on-camera start in Greenville, NC, as a reporter and anchor at WNCT-TV. She’s worked behind-the-scenes as a production assistant and devoted many long, unpaid hours as a super intern at the CBS Early Show, Best Damn Sports Show Period, FOX Sports West and WTOP Radio.

Neeha Curtis wakes up at 1 a.m every morning with a smile on her face and ready to face the day. Just kidding. She needs at least one cup of coffee to function like a regular human being.

Fueled by punctuality, eagerness, (and probably some of the treats she’s made during cooking segments), Neeha has been sharing news on Eye Opener TV since 2014.

This 10-year broadcast news veteran started as an assistant producer at Dateline NBC in New York. She worked for NBC Olympics, USA Today, and MSNBC after graduating from The College of New Jersey with a B.A in English Literature and Philosophy with a concentration in Law. Neeha also holds a M.S in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University’s S.I Newhouse School of Public Communications (Go Orange). Before joining Eye Opener TV, Neeha was a reporter and anchor in Greenville, Mississippi, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Dallas, Texas.
