Regarding a hypothetical Wolverine vs. Cyclops match

Cyclops isn't as strong, and doesn't have a healing factor but he is still a match for Wolverine(or most characters) in hand to hand combat, and he is one of Marvel's most strategic minds. Wolverine would have to get close enough to cyke to stab him, but there isn't much chance of him doing that without getting blasted, and if it is life or death Cyclops has no reason to hold back. As we've seen in the Age of Apocalypse story cyclops blast are strong enough to destroy adamentium (Wolverine loses a hand to Cyclops, including adamentium and the hand doesn't regenerate). So given that, i think cyclops definitely has the win here, 7/10 cyclops wins.

Cyclops my 2nd favorite Marvel character ever, I absolutely love the revolutionary thing they did with him, I liked him before all that too but that angle really put him over for me

whoever wrote that was stupid as fukk breh, they need to go back & read again... the claws retracted further back into his arm & the only reason he had one hand is cause he attached that stupid metal shyt to the stump before it could grow back.... he pops the claws out the stump & uses them later in the series.... cyclops did absolutely no permanent damage to wolverine or the adamantium....

Never read the comics much growing up but the thing I respected the most about him from the 90's cartoon was how he was never afraid to put his foot down even in the face of dudes like Wolverine and Gambit who were always tryna step on his toes. It's hard to remain the alpha in a room full of alphas but he was never afraid to check those guys when he needed to.
