You are bro... I can tell a difference in smoothness in a game that goes from 80-110 FPS and never drops below those frames than one that hovers around 57-60 FPS with vsync

What world are we living in where you can see more than 60fps on a 60hz monitor?

the gpu is still rendering those frames and animations based on when the player moved the mouse, pressed a button, etc. the faster it renders frames, the more responsive it will 'feel'

well I think this all started because @itsyoung!! was trying to say that his current gpu can already pump out 120+ frames in some games

and again, the x-factor is gsync, which allows you to have a variable framerate without tearing or vsync's input-lag. so it makes all those framerates between 60 and 144fps more viable

You're my breh, but come on. You're getting 120+ fps at 1440p on every game you try? You somehow overclocked your shyt so high that you get higher benchmarks than benchmarkers?

you can get 60 FPS with a 660TI on most games.. I think you are underestimating the power of video cards / cpus..

I actually have a 1440p monitor and game at higher resolutions than anybody here other than @duckbutta.

Believe me, I am not underestimating video cards. I know my video cards and what they can do. When you game at super high resolutions you know what's up.

1080p is nothing like 1440p or 5760 x 1080. It's a whole other ballgame. Look at the posters who have 1440p or above. If I'm not mistaken all of them have 2 (or is some cases) 3 high end cards
