Far Cry 2 is a shyt game but the fire propagation and spreading is fantastic. especially for a 2008 title available on consoles
The sequel is a great game; and the effects are arguably a little better optimized. Some people are bytching about the fire propagation being less overt and quick: i maintain that it is justified, island environments should be slower to catch fire than savannahs. To boot, the fire visually seems to display a greater dynamic range in color.
