I thought marvel owns all this characters
Marvel does own the characters, but not the movie/film rights the characters. In the late 90's when they filed for bankruptcy they sold the film rights to different studios. That's why Spiderman is with Sony, The X-men with Fox...and so on. I'm not sure and didn't bother to look it up, but I think Marvel got back the rights to Blade and the Punisher. I think Daredevil also.

That's because Tom Broovert, the editor, got some real deep psychological shyt going on with women and how he views a character like Peter looking too old if he's married to Mary Jane. So he threw that ALL IN THE BUSHES from nowhere to make Peter start over again...it was such a betrayal to the fans at the time. He sounds like a fukking idiot on that Forumspring blog he got.

Like the idea of octospidey. I think it could provide some good stories before the identity crisis and Parker taking back his body. I just hate the dumb talons on the new costume
The problem is the execution and the way the killed off Peter he didn't deserve to go out like that ...., 
that was bad they should of had ock try to have a change of heart after seeing how hard it is to be Peter and try to do the right thing on HIS own..,,, but it's too late and he helps Peter go peacefully and tries to be a better , superior Spider-Man .... The way he went out was so bytchmade and I have no desire to read about his murderer swinging around in his body living it up because thats all it is .

They've turned him into such a bytch ever since Stracyzinki's run. It all started with that stupid Sins Past shyt. So he never fukked Gwen Stacy, the true love of his life, who he loved even more than MJ, but Norman Osborn beat it up, seeded it up, and raised his kids and told them he was the father and brainwashed them to try and kill him.
How can you respect a character after that?
