Meh. First marriage was over and restarted quite a few times before it was finally over.
The final nail in the coffin was returning from a family reunion with him playing super dad super husband out of state
Then coming home to him wanting a DNA test on our (at the time) baby.
Obviously I didn't have any doubts at all so I was like sure.
Let your mouth write checks your ass can't cash lol.
I proceeded with the testing and the court procedures immediately.
When we got the test results back the judge made him apologize in court to me.
Needless to say she's his, his decision to just say stupid shyt just to say it
Finally was the straw that broke the camels back.

Like I said though it really just was a big combination of things. That just happened to be the final thing. Could have been anything. It was just time. It was over.

I was with my ex for 7 years. Been through everything and then some.
:yeshrug:

After a couple of rocky months, we attend a BBQ together. :obama:

She's chatting with her home girls, I'm sitting with the guys. :myman:

She happens to be standing next to the cooler, so I asked her for a beer.

:ld:

She coldly told me to get it myself.:birdman:

At the time I blew it off as attitude. :ld:

But in retrospect, the venom in her tone and the ice grill she shot me should've woke me up. :damn:

She waited another month before leaving me.

Ancedote: I bought her a jersey in anticipation for the world cup. The day we were supposed to go to watch the game, was the day she moved out. When I came home at night, to an empty house for the first time in 4 years, the ONLY thing she left behind was the jersey I had bought her.
:to:

Still not over it.

THREE-OH-FIVE TILL I DIE
My ex wife and I would go to company parties and parties in general.

I remember we used to act a fool when it was time to dance. We had so much fun making up new dance moves on the spot.

Later, I noticed she would do this stupid two step and lazily sway her arms from side to side when we danced. (The only way I could describe it is to call her dance a depressed Carlton dance)

But with other folks, this bytch would dance her ass off.

That's when I knew that was the beginning of the end.

By the way....this thread deserves its own theme song
