The Golf Club PS4/XB1 is the best Sim experience to date

No modes no power ups, no attributes or sliders, and no flashy graphics, just Golf in its purist form. The PS4 had a day 1 patch and the XB1 will receive a patch to improve the experience on that platform. The PS4 will receive an additional patch in the coming week or so. To fix some niggling issues and crashing. The beauty of this game, is you can quit at any time and close the app and once you load it up again, even from a crash you can start from where you left or quit the game.

Play a round, tournament, a hole, or just play around.

If you have played Links 2004 on the Xbox, this is a better version of that game. You get better in this game by playing and learning how to swing and picking the right club and shot type. Course types vary from hardest to Easy and the official fictional course is great, and the player created courses are great as well. They have a rating system for each golf course. This core game play is phenomenal, a familiar swing mechanic from other golf games, ball physics and grass friction is what separates this game from its contemporaries.
