One of my favorite films from my childhood. I never cared for the dark crystal personally as I always hated the designs of the lead characters. But every design in this film was memorable and has held up well.
I think a lot of people adore this film,it was a staple of many households. But it's not as known that the film was a box office bomb,and was reviewed poorly by critics at the time,people like siskel said it was an awful film. In fact the reaction to the film left jim Henson depressed. It was the last film he made before he died. It went on to become a cult classic over time and gain more and more popularity but most of that after his death.
What say the film room? Goat or nah?
