I am by no means an expert in this field; I'm just trying to help people who may be interested in the subject. These experiences are often profound, and I like sharing knowledge.

Lucid Dreaming- This is basically when you are dreaming, and become aware that you are in a dream. Instead of being an observer per say, you become an active participant. This allows you to dictate the dream, which can be a very enthralling experience. Some people naturally have this ability, and I think a lot of them may take it for granted, because many people do not have this ability. I do believe that it can be learned by anyone though.

Tips for Lucid Dreaming:
-
While you are awake, constantly do "reality checks" to confirm you are not dreaming. For example, pinch yourself, or survey your surroundings to see if anything is "off." I would suggest to to this every hour at the least, but the more often the better. This trains your mind to be more aware. They key is for this to behavior to continue while you are dreaming. If you can perform "reality checks" in your dreams, you will more than likely notice something is off and have an "aha" moment that confirms you are dreaming. For example, you may notice that the grass is purple or some other odd as shyt.

- When you realize that you are in a dream, confirm it by trying to do something like trying to fly. Now the key is to remain fairly calm and not to get too excited, which will cause you to wake up.

Out of Body Experiences- This is when your soul (not sure if this is the proper term) lifts out of, or separates from your physical body. If you have ever heard an account of a near death experience, it is exactly what an out of body experience is execpt for the religious stuff. Once out, you can explore your surroundings or Astral Project (I will get into this next) Personally, I started having out of body experiences because I could hear what literally felt like electricity in between my ears while sleep. Initially, it scared the shyt out of me, but after about a month, I stopped being fearful about the noise and just "went with it" which led to me eventually lifting out of my body.

After looking up information on the subject, I learned that what was happening to me was an auditory signal or hallucination (I don't like using that word because I don't believe it's a hallucination) Apparently, people can hear the electricity, (which is intense and slightly painful at first, but barely noticeable over time) bells, trains, and many other types of signals. If this happens or has happened to you, please do not worry, it's just a gateway to out of body experiences. Trust me, it's not anything wrong with your ears. As well, I noticed that I was experiencing sleep paralysis at the point when I lifted out of my body.

Tips for achieving an Out Of Body Experience:

- What I learned is that your mind being awake is allows it to happen. Constantly remind yourself throughout the day to keep your mind awake, even when you sleep. From what I read, it's the same state they use to hypnotize people. This is much easier than it sounds; it's just takes some practice.

- I think sleep paralysis is the key. I suffered from sleep paralysis as a kid and it was never a bad experience, just weird, but to my surprise, a lot of people associate it with demons and all kinds of crazy shyt. Maybe I'm lucky, but I don't see anything scary about sleep paralysis. In order to have an out of body experience, I think you need to let go of any fears associated with sleep paralysis.

- Once you reach the point of being able to attempt an out of body experience, it will probably take a few times to actually make it out. It sometimes leaves you exhausted trying to get out, but it's worth it if you make it. The first few times I tried, I only got half way out, then when I finally got out, it felt like a vortex or some shyt sucked me back in. It was frustrating to say the least.

- I notice that I would wake up to go pee in the middle of the night, then I would lay back down, and that's mostly when I had the out of body experiences. I thinks it has something to do with being in that half sleep half awoke state. I think that is the optimum time to try.

- I think you have to overcome any fears before you will be able to separate from your body. Even though I was almost there, it took me about a month to separate from my body. I think this was from a subconscious fear of the unknown

Astral Traveling- This is a little tricky because a lot of people believe this is the same thing as an out of body experience. I beg to differ. I think that this is when you travel to different realms or dimensions. I think that an out of body experience is a gateway to astral traveling, but you don't necessarily have to astral travel if you don't want to. With the out of body experience, you stay in the "real world" so to speak, but you can travel to different astral planes, dimension, alternate realities, realms, etc.. with astral traveling. I believe you can even travel to the past or the future (I've never did this) I have the least experience with astral traveling. You really have to let go of fear to travel in this world, because the unknown factor is limitless.

Tips For Astral Traveling:

-
It's hard to explain, but from an out of body experience, all you have to do is "think" yourself into another realm or dimension. You can walk (or float) into a picture and be in that reality. Also, I read that mirrors can serve as portal( I never tried because it seems a little scary)

General Tips:

-
One of the huge differences between lucid dreams and out of body experiences or astral projection is that, you recognize that a lucid dream is a dream. On the other hand, you feel ( and I say feel because you actually can't prove it) that out of body experiences and astral projection is real. I won't debate it with anyone, because it's pointless, but you can't tell me otherwise.

I've read a lot about scary stuff like demons and crazy shyt, but I can honestly say that I personally haven't discovered anything of the such in my travels. Now, I do believe they probably exist because there's good and evil, but I would not worry about that stuff. If anything, I think it may be a reflection of something buried subconsciously. Do not let that type of talk stop you from trying to explore.

All of these things can be done naturally, without the aid of drugs. I hear and read a lot of people talking about achieving these things through psychedelics like shrooms, acid, or DMT. I've never did these things, so I can't compare the experiences, but like everything in life, I'm sure the natural is the best way. Plus, when you do it the natural way, you are actually learning techniques and training you subconscious mind as opposed to shortcuts which you may become dependent on to repeat these experiences. Actually, I notice that if I smoke weed, it renders theses abilities useless. It's the main reason why I only some like once every few months or so.

- Meditation was the gateway to all of this stuff for me. I started experiencing these thing naturally after about a year of meditation. Actually, before these experiences, I didn't believe in any of this shyt. I did not seek theses experiences out. I did not start reading about these subjects until after I had experiences, which is personal validation that these things are real. To anyone interested in these things, I suggest getting into meditation.
