Ya'll said make the thread after I asked the question, so here it is for us.

This thread is for "Receipts", keep it positive and don't OD with ridiculous claims or criticism folks.


I'm going to start it off with sample from a while ago. This was a Smith Machine (I know, I know) bench at Planet Fitness during my lunch break. It was about 250/260. It's a good starting point to get this thread rolling I hope. I'll keep posting more as I record them. I'll post 300/315 for sure when I get there again.

You can hone stabilization muscles with the dumbells cause at least if those get the best of you then you can just drop them on the floor. Can't drop a bar on the floor if it gets away from you without chopping your head off. :huhldup:
Oh I see the work/church shoes, yeah you were at definitely at lunch :heh:

Hate to be that guy, but the smith machine bar is less than a regular bench press. I think its 15 pounds, regular bars are 45.

There is a thread already started by @Originalgangsta317 that this should get merged with. Lots of folks were posting bench/squats/deads but the thread ain't have any traction in a few weeks.

If you gonna start a bench receipts thread you need to be doing free weights.

You can't start a lifting thread with smith machine lifts and expect real lifters to take you seriously. That shyt is only for cats tryin to over inflate their numbers with shyt they can't do free weight

He was the one that mentioned starting this thread. I'm trying to see those posts. Smith Machine was always gonna get people fired up, but that was a lunch break thing and I have a planet fitness near my work. If it makes people feel better just dont count the bar. Just count the plates and let's start from there.

Pretty sure that particular bar is more than 15 lbs for sure tho

Ok. Challenge accepted. Looking forward to seeing your first video here lifting free weight.

I put (I know, I know) in there for all these reasons, people can just count the plates without the bar as well. It's all good. Let's see those videos instead of random numbers. That's all this thread is about.
