Man it's not a lot of people period thinking seriously about financial security and planning.

I need to focus on getting my creativity back & creating multiple streams of income.

Would love to be able to setup an Amazon, Ebay, Etsy type of shop

I think the closest I'd come to that is a software company but that's not what I really want to do. My first step on the journey to financial security is going to be in real estate. Hopefully I can find a nice duplex or four-plex and contract a property management company to run it. I just don't want to get deep into a property that's just so far gone that it's never profitable. I've already seen a couple with prices that had me but pictures that had me. I couldn't in good faith have tenants living in such squalor regardless of the neighborhood. But that side I already have an idea on how to encourage long term tenant retention, I'd just need some buy in from a management company to see if it would work since it goes against typical logic.

I've been looking into Mutual Real Estate Funds and Crowd sourcing real estate projects. Definitely want to get in involved in owning some real estate but I don't wanna have all my eggs in one basket.

Hope to get started after I get these credit cards paid off.

Can anyone here look over my resume? I've been a lab manager for a a lil over a year and definitely want to get out of the bio realm because this does not pay at all. I want to transition into some sort of middle-level management type thing. I don't necessarily know how to textually sell my shyt at all but I will be able to sell it for sure by the time an interview comes around.

I talked with some recruiter named Roy about a position earlier today and this other guy called me about the same role just a few minutes ago. Dude 2 got me a technical phone screen scheduled for tomorrow and Roy emailed me 4 ridiculous questions that he wants me to answer before he submits me to the client , like essay questions. Roy gave me the range for the position already, so I asked dude 2 to see if he would , but he gave a number in that range. I'm going to have to tell Roy that I was already submitted and I forgot.

Edit: Roy and the other dude are from the same company so basically one is c*nt and one is not.

I might stop paying extra on my student loans for a few months so I can save up for this laptop quicker. My current one is starting to give me signs that it's not gonna hold on for too much longer. I hate that I have expensive tastes man . I don't make a lot of purchases but the ones I do make take a chunk of of my account.

Edit: Came up on a bunch of Udemy courses worth 2-4x as much as that laptop is gonna cost, for free
