On this 90th birthday of Malcolm X, Supreme is profiting off of his image and what he represents... but they are giving nothing back. No word at all on taking those profits and putting them to work to further the causes Malcolm believed in or to support his legacy.

We should all say, "Supreme, stop appropriating!" Especially considering the climate in the U.S. Organizations in Ferguson, Baltimore, and around the country could use material support to build exactly the kind of movement Malcolm advocated. The least Supreme could do would be to lend support, in a real way, considering they are currently engaging in a cynical money grab that shows real disregard for Malcolm's legacy and continuing oppression.

Is there a reason James Jebbia, above, should benefit this much from the image and legacy of Malcolm X?

This season so far has been disappointing.

This Malcolm X capsule will be rocked proudly by japanese, korean, and Chinese hype beasts that lurk soho and tribeca on the weekends.
