Made this thread so we don't derail the Aries Spears thread.

heres a really good one. its literally a bunch of "why are you being so racist :damn: " in comedy form

edit: and to clarify, i understand patrice is battling racial banter with racial banter--and as a black comedian, its basically his duty not to be offended by other jokes. however, white supremacist are veterans at masking their racism in humor, where as patrice was novice at best.

listen to this video, he's pleading with the racist on some "what did black people ever do to deserve the treatment we receive in this country!! "

also, patrice held his own often. he gave it out almost as much as he got it, but he was still there to make their racism acceptable. which is why the show cannibalized itself after patrice died.

He's still not close to being a c00n based on what I've heard from him. We'll agree to disagree 100 percent bro

Dude made a show with Opie and Anthony where they had this black chick play a slave...

Patrice definitely had c00n tendencies :manny:

:yeshrug:

If anybody tries to defend this shyt :scust:

Tariq used to go in on racism on the O&A show ..especially that Cumia dude.

stopped at 2:25....Patrice simply laughed it off....nah

Oh it gets worse breh.. it's been years since I listened to this so I can't time stamp shyt tho

Yo I listened to all dat and I can't imagine any self-respecting black person findin dat shyt the least bit funny.

Fools will justify this in the name of comedy and free speech.

@41:54............... I don't understand how Patrice didn't:
1) Slap da shyt outta one dem Saltines
2) Slap da shyt outta ALL of dem Saltines
3) Slap da shyt outta da girl for goin along wit dat shyt
4) Gettin up and walkin df out

Patrice O c00n

This shyt is too much. Can't believe I never saw this shyt. We need to act all them nikkas in this thread that was sticking up for him. I want to see them weasel out of this one.

When old heads attack part 4

The c00nery is compunded by the fact that the audience was predominantly white..

As long as it's funny, it can't be racist or homo :troll:

Seriously tho a lot of comics use that line to say fukked up shyt. Toss a pregnant woman down the stairs joke. But it was funny. Racist black joke... but it was funny. Gay joke. But it was funny. Man wearing a dress. But it was funny. Two guys kissing. But it was funny

It's like some unwritten rule in comedy

Patrice was a c00n :yeshrug:

He seemed like he had low self-esteem too. Maybe that had something to do with it.

His low self esteem prevented him from being successful. Chris Rock told him that to his face

Patrice was on O&A where they had a black girl play the role of a slave and Opie, Anthony and Louis C.K were slave masters (they referred to her as a ******). Patrice was the "field ******".

If that ain't c00ning, then nothing is bruh :yeshrug:

- Exaggerated facial expressions
- Slow talking
- In amazement of everything white people do
- Expoiting black steorotypes for laughs
- Expressing how more feminine white women are than Black women

I was almost waiting for him to say "Isa massa was Iz good?"

:scust:

I don't mind his exaggerated expressions since that's always been his shtick. Everything else was very cringeworthy tho.

:yeshrug:He's dead fam, let that shyt go.

I mean cornballs have overhyped his holistic outlook on dating and women because of their own shortcomings, but dude was just effortless in his craft.

I enjoyed his comedy (aside from the BS on O&A), but the topic of where to draw the line as far as black comedians and c00nery is interesting. I'm just using Patrice to make a point breh. Not trying to degrade a dead man.

What does he say wrong about women? I'm all ears. Don't dodge either. This is the coli, home of generalizations but let's call out Patrice
