I see what they are saying on one hand.

on the other hand, these brothers came up the same way Stan Lee used WW2 to make his millions by creating super heroes. these guys did it by reflecting what they saw in real-life (fiction or non-fiction), they still have stories to tell. but if you take a step back and look at their stories overall, you can see how they overcame their struggles to success.

ultimately, I think it is selfish and somewhat irresponsible to look at their youthful years and not look at the big picture.

If the whole story is sold to our culture that you can skip the hoes, money and clothes by becoming owners and rewriting the rules then its a win-win to me.

Two observations, why do people always assume that rappers talk about black women and not women in general and why do people always think that rapping about your past life is glamorizing?

Crime actually started going down drastically as gangster rap exploded and was at the highest when Arrested Development and them were doing numbers. If rappers inspire you to sell drugs based on them doing it, that person is already lost. And they should also start companies and shyt like these rappers do. Say TI he said he was standing on the corner selling dimes and nickels, went to jail, lost his nikkas, nothing glorious at all, then he said he started a company and became a multi millionaire driving expensive cars, got a huge family with an ugly wife and mad side broads. Why would anyone be inspired by the former and not the latter, and how is the former glamorous and not the latter.

This is the most simple analysis, that brain dead type of analysis where you don't think twice or question what you are saying.

Hater shyt all the way around. This is some shyt you share privately with your inner circle, not on the internet amongst everyone. Nothing wrong with criticism of each other, but I wish we would keep that shyt in house for the most part. nikkas making long ass post dissing successful black men, who despite not the most positive lyrics, have done a lot as far as donating to causes and contributing to the community with time, money, and resources. Not to mention, that a lot of those artist have grown over the years and their subject matter has matured.

Them post are feminine in nature. Just calling like I see it. The Speech nikka shytted on them, tried to give a backhanded compliment in the middle, then continued to shyt on them. If you gotta constantly say you ain’t hating then, well..... Then this nikka Theo wanna jump in on some, I wasn’t gonna repost, but.... Man if you don’t sit ya ass down somewhere. Either repost the shyt or not. All this social media commentary really for women anyway. nikkas done lost they way

furthermore the american black culture is the only culture to have to find itself in America's system as much as we had to. so it's natural to see the immaturity in us.. but when we come to full fruition, blacks will be a threat and the architects of succedding as minorities.

Lets be real. If any one of them rappers or Ceos in the pic called Speech up and wanted to work with him prior to his rant on this picture he would've jumped at the opportunity.

When you've been irrelevant for 25 years you can talk bad about successful people in the industry because you got nothing to lose

Dudes come out like this on their first singles

Outta all the nikkas I was wit when I was doing wrong
3 in the fed, 1 doing life, and 2 dead and gone

Bankhead and J-Rue, I just feel like if I was wit 'em
They would of never got killed that night if I was 'em
Seem like I could of done mo', said mo'
Why all my partners gotta be dead or in the fed for??

How the hell is that glamorizing, shyt is real life. If you grow up in the hood there's enough bad influences, rappers aren't the ones taking you from you school books to sell drugs. Cause then you would be rapping, not selling drugs. You would be starting companies, you would be trying to become an actor, try to bag white girls from the suburbs and all the shyt that rappers do.
