shyt was low budget, so they must owe him a favor or like him a lot

I watched this with some female friends as a joke a few years back.

Truly a piece of trash movie and the reason I'll never take Meagan Good seriously as an actor.

Bun B was in it too right? As Meagan's sisters boyfriend/pimp.

BTW, in answer to your question, "celebs" like those are cheaper than real actors because they do it more for the look because they can't get into real flicks. Pay for their flight and put them up in a hotel for a couple of days and you can get anybody from the rap scene in your movie.

The budget was $5M so although it's "low budget" the actors/artists were still paid their fees. Lot of shytty movies like this get funded because they get actors/names like that attatched before production, then a company or independent investors put the money up based on those names.

The movie was trash but I wouldn't be surprised if they made their money back based on the fact that Megan Good was such a big sex symbol then, and that was focus of the story pretty much...
