The first rapper to get a #1 hit on the billboard top 100 was Vanilla Ice, and Eminem has sold more albums than the next rapper (Jay-Z) almost three times over. Nowadays there are more and more white cats coming into the game like Macklamore and Mack Miller that have a better "image" and are more "acceptable" than their black counterparts.

Is there anything we can do to keep Hip-Hop a black thing, or will it slowly but surely be stolen like all our other shyt?

Like the genres before them, we tend to create another genre when it gets flooded.
