I check out stories on this instagram and saw it here. I think the guy is some type of industry insider or something. He had a shytload of stuff on the NWA and what really happened, who really split the group up and what not. True or not, was a good read.
"I got sent the link to this on FB early this morning. Hilarious but this illustrates the very real and scary fact that even as popular as you may be, it is not safe in these L.A. streets for Rappers. Especially those who don't even have the respect of even their own neighborhood. Snoop owes the guys STILL in the hood: NOTHING, ZERO, NADA, & ZILCH. He took a lot of them with him in that initial Deathrow launch and if they couldn't make something out of ALL those "avenues" they were afforded then, oh well. Trying to prove your still down should consist of feeding the very poor and disenfranchised of his hood and not the posers that think just because they yelled in his face and he didn't bomb on them then he's now a buster. "...if I shoot you in brainless but if you shoot Me, then your famous. What's a Ni*** to do?" Snoop has forever immortalized The 20's in his music and if they "kick him off the hood" so be it. But when people think of them, they will always think of Snoop FIRST. Now if he had stayed in his original monicker, "Snooper Duper" and made it just as big, they would be begging to "put him on the hood". You can't win for losing sometimes can you..."
