He said that Aaliyah would have fallen off completely.
Huh? Just listened to it again from that time stamp and I didn't hear that at all, maybe I inadvertently stepped in a troll thread idk

He said that since she passed she's considered an untouchable goddess but if she was still alive she would be in competition with Beyonce (and Rihanna and them too prolly) and their fans would try to tear her down and shyt on her.

No matter how you feel about Aaliyah I don't know how you can act like this isn't true

She already had staying power. She, in R&B terms, would have her own hardcore fanbase and lasted till now. She may not have been on top in 2015, but she would have outlasted most of her peers.

no he didn't you dope. all he's saying is that since she died that her music is almost seen as sacred or some shyt, like she all of a sudden became Aretha Franklin/Diana Ross level when she died

So you are saying that she never made an impact? :stopitslime:

Even if you were right, have respect for her legacy. She was never nasty, rude, or disrespectful to anyone when she was alive.

In that theory, you would admit that Pac would fall off? He wasn't considered the best rapper when he was alive, especially when BIG, Nas, Mobb Deep, Wu Tang were hitting their strides.
