A few things I always hated seeing from rappers: 1) The Italian Mafia adoration, especially after that table scene in The Godfather were the bosses agreed to sell dope only in the colored neighborhoods. 2) The justification of selling dope in ones own community. 3) And the decades of Donald Trump dik riding. In 1989 Donald Trump payed $85,000 to have full page ads in the 4 New York newspapers urging the mayor to bring the death penalty back to NYC...This was in response to the 5 Black teens who were later trialed and convicted only for years later to have their convictions vacated in the Central Park Jogger case. Before those teens were found innocent, the audacity of Donald Trump to even execute that type of demand towards Black teens was reason to look at Donald sideways.

This was 1989 yet when looking for someone rich to admire rappers didnt look to Reginald Lewis or Mansa Musa....They went to Donald. And now in 2016 Trumps' campaign managers are using these rappers and their past dik riding to help promote him as a means of proving that he is admired for his wealth and the irony is that we all know Trump dont give a damn about any Black agenda but he'll use those who Black people admire within music to promote himself for the 2016 Presidential campaign.

Ect....

But the worst one of them all was this statement made by Russel Simmons just a few years ago:

Well, it might surprise you that his mentor is "The Donald," as in Donald Trump. But Simmons has a very strange way of showing Trump respect. In a recent print interview, he complimented "The Donald" by referring to him as his "nikka." "I read it in the newspapers, with an 'a' at the end. And I called him and I said, 'That's the worst thing anybody has ever said,'" recalls Trump. "'Why would you say a thing like that?' He couldn't understand what I was saying. He said, 'That's the greatest thing I could ever say about anybody.'"

:childplease::comeon::ohhh::martin::what::beli::pacspit::ufdup::dahell::mindblown::rudy::camby:

After Trump started showing his ass during the recent GOP debates all of a sudden, now you have the turn around.

"Free enterprise" by Rick Ross

“Assassinate Trump like I’m Zimmerman / Now accept these words as they came from Eminem.”

:martin:

Sorry Rick Ross but Trump been showed us his ass, so your attempt at a publicity stunt cant erase over 2 decades of Donald Dik riding within Hip Hop.

But it doesnt stop there. Russel Simmons is also now on the "not so pro Donald" bandwagon.

"stop the bulls---" and "stop fueling fires of hate." Don't feed into the rhetoric created by small-minded people. You're smarter and certainly more loving then you let on,"
Simmons says while he wishes Trump "good luck on (his) path toward the White House," he will be "campaigning rigorously against (him)."

:stopitslime:

But its too late..the die is already cast. Hip Hop for decades has openly shown its admiration for Trump in a way where now anyone who is anti Trump in Hip Hop will look like a minority. :snoop:

To be perfectly fair I don't think more than have of those rappers you quoted especially the ones from anywhere else from the east coast knew anything about him except him being a billionaire public figure

Rappers need to stop namedropping and d!ckriding individuals thay have very little knowledge of then.

Nope..there is no excuse because American history has shown us the relationships between rich white men since the days of sl;avery. Some of us have had grandmothers who worked in white folks homes and would get the inside scoop on what really goes on in the homes of white people with money. There's a history between Blacks in America and Rich white men.

Breh this is silly. Donald Trump, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet. Just because a rapper says a line comparing their money to these public figures, don't mean they are backing them or their agenda's. It's rap music. It would be different if the lines were of substance and containing commentary biggin up the person's agenda or character. These are throwaway rap platitudes.
