Listen up, maggots! It's time for TheColi to appreciate one of the greatest to ever step into the ring. Craig Pittman came from humble beginings. As Gary Michael Cappetta explains, he came into WCW as the World Military Wrestling Champion.

LOOK IN THE RING AND WHAT DO I SEE? A LITTLE SCARED PUNK LOOKING DOWN ON ME :birdman:

Sgt. Pittman's finisher was lethal, brehs. Several military scholars noted that Sgt. Pittman was so irate that Saddam Hussein was invading Kuwait that he wanted to break both of his arms to teach him a lesson. That's how the Code Red came about. Let's look how effective the Code Red is in the following match. Just a little backstory - there were rumblings in the back that Scott Armstrong was a Saddam Hussein sympathizer, and Pitbull was having none of that. Scott Armstrong's shoulder was never able to get back into its socket, forcing him into retirement to become the shytty referee we know today.

Who could forget that classic feud Pitbull had with his former friend turned arch nemesis, Cobra? For those of you who don't remember, Sgt. Pittman was Cobra's commanding officer in The Gulf War. Cobra's dumb ass got separated from his squadron and blamed Pitbull for abandoning him. We all know Sgt. Craig Pittman is a man of high moral integrity and would never leave a man behind. Cobra saw Pitbull gaining steam in WCW and decided to show up and get revenge. There was a reason why Sgt. Craig Pittman was the commanding officer, and Cobra's stupid ass got left behind

For what it's worth, NWO Stang showed up shortly after Pitbull sent Cobra back to the bushes :skip:

Anyway, moving on...some wrestling fans credit Pitbull for jump starting Eddie Guerrero's career. At the time, Eddie beating Pitbull on Nitro was deemed a huge upset victory. Look at the crowd reaction when Eddie won. No one expected him to beat a modern day legend like the Pitbull. A star was born that night, thanks to Sgt. Craig Pittman doing what was right for the business :ehh:

Sgt. Craig Pittman was an accomplished amateur wrestler and even had a few MMA fights in the mid-90's. I have it on good authority that Brock Lesnar looked up to Sgt. Craig Pittman as a youngster. Just like every adolescent male in the 90's, Brock had a poster of the Pitbull hanging in his room to motivate him to become the suplex machine that he is today. I mean, just look at what the Pitbull was doing :wow:

The WCW brass debuted Pitbull as a heel for some reason. The crowd wasn't buying it because the Pitbull was an American hero. As soon as that USMC music hit, all the fans got out of their seats to chant USA USA USA! I get teary eyed just remembering it :mjcry:

TSC, stand up and salute the legend that is Sgt. Craig "PITBULL" Pittman :salute:
