Horry

There are 2 types of rankings. Accolades based and just pure basketball based. Duncan has an argument against Kobe is we talking accolades cause their resumes are similar. But in terms of pure basketball skill its not even close. Kobe is vastly superior.

Water is wet :francis:.

He must really hate Tim:mjlol:

How is it hating to say Duncan isn't top 3 all-time? This overvaluation of Tim Duncan because he played on a team that is still winning 60+ games after he retired is ridiculous. Duncan was a good player. But in terms of skill and talent he doesn't hold a candle to the likes of Hakeem Olajuwon and Kobe Bryant.

NBA players respect SKILL. And that is why Robert Horry has those 3 dudes in his top 3 because there is no question that in terms of skill, Kobe, MJ, and Hakeem are the top 3.

Soooo two nikkas he played with and Jordan.....yea.....ok Bob:francis:

He won 7 rings and Jordan has 6. So its not that outlandish he would pick 2 nikkas who helped him win 7 rings and a guy who won 6 rings himself.

Regular fans might undervalue Hakeem and Kobe but NBA players don't. There is a reason Kobe and Hakeem are the two former NBA players that every young player goes to in the off-season to train with. Its because Kobe and Hakeem are the two most skilled players in the history of basketball. No perimeter player has ever had an arsenal of moves like Kobe and no big that has ever played had an arsenal of moves like Hakeem.

They belong right beside Jordan as top 3 players in NBA history.

Classic Niccas
if we're just going by skills, then all these all-time lists would be completely different, and we'd include people in the top 10, whose careers weren't worthy of top 50.

people just want to make exceptions for certain players.

if kobe is 3rd on your list, then T-Mac should be 1st or 2nd. I bet T-Mac didn't even cross his mind.
