Fox News flamethrower Bill O'Reilly allegedly beat up his now ex-wife and dragged her by neck down a staircase — in front of their daughter, according to a shocking new report Monday.
The alleged assault happened before O'Reilly and Maureen McPhilmy separated in 2010, Gawker.com reported.
The couple's daughter, who is now 16, just recently told a forensic examiner about vicious fight in the couples' former Manhasset, L.I., mansion, the website reported.
The O'Reillys divorced in September 2011 and now share custody of their daughter and 11-year-old son, court records show.
But as part of their agreement, the couple agreed to a child therapist who would arbitrate any potential custodial disputes.
McPhilmy charged in court papers that O'Reilly "hired the children's therapist as a full-time employee to perform virtually all of his parental duties."
Two years ago, a New York appeals court ruled that O'Reilly's behavior "could undermine the integrity" of their joint-custody agreement and ordered a trial court to consider McPhilmy's petition for sole custody.

O'Reilly is famous for his short fuse and has a history of flipping out both on and off the set.
He has also been accused of pulling a Brian Williams and exaggerating the danger he faced while covering the Falklands War in 1982.
O'Reilly insisted he was no liar.
Fox News declined to comment on the report.
